Central Florida follows the I-4 Corridor from Tampa to Daytona Beach including 21 counties. If you were to ask residents around the greater metropolitan area of Orlando, they would narrow the scope of “Central Florida” to the counties of Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Brevard and Volusia, with some considering Polk and Sumter counties to be a part of Central Florida.
